What is Ionity Global?
Ionity Global (Pty) Ltd is a South African Native-AI engineering company. We build AIoT, Cloud and Edge systems, custom MCP servers, AI agents and copilots, dashboards and live digital twins, and we run evidence-first audits and forensics. We are solutionists across mechanical, electrical and IT, and we make the hardware when the software needs a body.
Is Ionity Global the same as the IONITY EV-charging network?
No. Ionity Global (Pty) Ltd is a South African Native-AI, AIoT, Edge and audit company founded by Johan Wilhelm van Antwerp. It is a separate, unrelated entity from the European electric-vehicle charging network IONITY GmbH (ionity.com).
What services does Ionity Global offer?
Twelve services in four pillars. Intelligence: Native-AI integration (custom MCP, RAG, copilots), AI implementation and adoption, and agent development. Edge and hardware: hardware AI training and deployment (ESP32, Raspberry Pi, Hailo, GPU nodes), AIoT and edge systems, and hardware, firmware and edge compute. Software and cloud: software development, custom B2B systems and dashboards (including RMS), and cloud, data and hosting. Assurance: audit and forensics, and technical advisory.
What is the Edge Micro-Audit?
A live, 100% on-device diagnostic of your hardware and network, measured entirely in your browser — nothing is transmitted. It is a real taste of how Ionity audits infrastructure, evidence-first.
What is AEDi?
AEDi (Automated Ecosystems Designs Intelligence) is Ionity's own Native-AI assistant, embedded on this website. It answers questions and routes you to the right page, and it is built on frontier AI models and our own AI fabric.
